Häger GmbH & Co. KG ANSI-Cryogenic Valves
Cryogenics is a process in which substances are converted from a gaseous to a liquid state or separated from each other. Gate valves and globe valves are also available in cryogenic designs, with full or reduced bore. They are used in pipelines carrying liquids at low temperatures down to -150 °C. The use of a control plug (throttling cone/regulation disc) on the shut-off valves enables even more precise flow control.
Key Features of Cryogenic Valves
Cryogenic valves are specially designed for use at extremely low temperatures starting from -150 °C. They provide safe and reliable flow of cryogenic liquids in pipelines and are available as both gate valves and globe valves with full or reduced bore. The optional use of a control plug allows for particularly precise flow regulation, making them ideal for applications in low-temperature technology.
Extremely temperature resistant
Cryogenic valves are designed for safe operation at temperatures as low as -150 °C and ensure reliable performance even under extreme low-temperature conditions.
Versatile designs
Available as gate valves and globe valves with full or reduced bore—ideal for a wide range of applications in cryogenic technology.
Precise flow control
Thanks to the integrated control plug (regulation disc), the valves enable especially precise control of the media flow—even under demanding operating conditions.

Description of our Cryogenic Valves:
Cryogenic gate valves and globe valves are primarily used to regulate or shut off low-temperature fluids. In cryogenic applications, these valves are typically used with liquids at -150 °C and below. The term cryogenic technology refers to the techniques used to generate extremely low temperatures in order to liquefy or separate gases.
Our cryogenic gate valves are available with full or reduced bore. For precise flow regulation, the globe valves we supply can also be equipped with a control plug (throttling cone / regulating disc).
