Häger GmbH & Co. KG DIN strainers
The strainer prevents contamination in the pipeline with its built-in filter basket. The flowing liquids and gases may contain impurities, which are filtered out by the strainer’s filter basket. This ensures that the pipeline and downstream valves are protected from contamination and damage.
The key features of strainers
Strainers with customizable mesh sizes filter solids from the medium, protecting downstream components and increasing system efficiency. The strainer basket is typically made of stainless steel and can be removed for cleaning. They are available with flanged or weld ends. For larger nominal sizes, we offer heavy-duty lifting lugs. After opening, we recommend replacing the gasket and conducting a new pressure test.
Adjustable mesh size and easy maintenance
The mesh size of the filter can be adjusted according to the size of the particles to be filtered. The filter insert can be easily emptied by removing the strainer’s cover.
After cleaning and reassembling the cover, a pressure test according to EN 12266-1 should be performed.
Recommended Gasket Replacement
After each maintenance of the strainer, the cover gasket must be replaced to ensure optimal sealing.
This helps prevent leaks and ensures the safe operation of the system.
Versatile materials and easy installation
The strainer basket is made of stainless steel as standard but is also available in other materials. The strainer can be configured with a flanged connection according to EN 558-1 or with a weld end.
